I was unaware of his death until a few days ago. It's surprising how much he impacted our current culture with his works, and it's pretty hard to imagine what life would be like without them. Think about it, most fan creations like Super Mario Bros. Z wouldn't exist, memes like Ultra Instinct Shaggy wouldn't have existed, and many more similar instances that I can't even name of. He was THAT influential.
I had a bit of a Dragon Ball phase when I was in middle school, I played Xenoverse 2 to death and got myself caught up in multiple memes from the series, including the cult classic "Dragon Ball X". Although it was a pretty awkward era, it was one of those times where I was happy with everything, and I am thankful for that part of my life. Akira Toriyama made it all possible, and to that I thank him. I hope he's doing alright with whatever lies in the afterlife.
Rest in Peace Akira Toriyama.
Finasty
Yeah, he make the most and notably awesome Dragon Ball series, which all now remembered him
